Wakad is the bridge suburb — the IT park on one side, the Mumbai–Bangalore Highway and Pune city on the other. It's the most balanced choice for families: established societies around Bhumkar Chowk, Datta Mandir and Kaspate Wasti, every school board within reach, hospitals, and Phoenix Mall of the Millennium at the doorstep. Rents run noticeably below comparable Hinjewadi Phase 1 flats for more established infrastructure.
